FS-3 Racing has pulled the wraps off its retro-inspired Kawasaki ZX-10RR pair ahead of the 2022 British Superbike Championship (BSB).

Kawasaki UK’s nominated works BSB team, FS-3 Racing will cut a dash for its third season as the manufacturer’s factory-backed entry with a makeover for the Ninja distinguished by a lime green colourway finished blue and white graphic inserts.

The look is inspired by a similar design used by Kawasaki as a special one-off livery for the Argentinian round of the WorldSBK Championship in 2021.

That itself was a retro throwback to the signature colours of the early-1990s, primarily the Kawasaki ZX-7R that won Kawasaki’s first WorldSBK title back in 1993 with Scott Russell.

“Having witnessed the incredibly positive feedback from racing fans across the globe after seeing Jonathan’s machine in Argentina, and then on our standard road bike at Motorcycle Live on the Kawasaki stand, we knew we had to see it on track in the UK this year,” said Kawasaki’s Ross Burridge.

“The guys at FS-3 Racing also fell in love with the design and are excited to see Lee and Rory debut the new look on track at round one in April later this year.”

FS-3 Racing enters into a second consecutive season with Lee Jackson and teenager Rory Skinner following a modest 2021 campaign that yielded three podiums between them. It will be bidding to get Kawasaki into the Title Showdown for the first time since 2019.
