After taking the title fight down to the final round, British Supersport regulars Gearlink Kawasaki have announced their 2022 lineup for BSB Supersport.

After a strong debut season that saw him finish in 6th place on 183 points, McGlinchey remains with the team that helped him to ten top-ten finishes in 2021. He’ll be joined in the team for 2022 by Zak Corderoy, who moves up after an exciting Junior Superstock campaign.

With Ben Currie stepping up to challenge for honours in the World Supersport Championship, Eunan McGlinchey will lead the Gearlink charge, where he will be looking to build on his debut with further podiums and race wins. Joining him on the immaculately prepared Ninja ZX-6R will be Zak Corderoy, who had a fantastic Junior Superstock season in 2021, taking six wins, and recently completed an impressive test with the team.

Alongside both riders, the Gearlink Kawasaki team is also promoting former rider Ben Wilson who will be taking over the running of the team.

Ross Burridge, Head of Marketing & Racing Department at Kawasaki UK:

“I was very impressed with the way Zak rode throughout 2021, and to have him on a Gearlink Supersport bike is very exciting! I believe that between Zak and Eunan, we have a great chance for success next year.

Having worked with Ben Wilson for the last decade, too, I can vouch that there is no better man for the job to guide these two youngsters through their Supersport journey. BSB 2022 can’t come quick enough!”

Ben Wilson, Gearlink Kawasaki Team Manager:

“We are really pleased to have signed Zak and retain Eunan for another year. We feel we have a strong lineup this year and, with the knowledge we have, I believe both riders can run at the front.

It has always been the ethos of the Gearlink team to develop and bring on new riders, and I feel there is definite potential in both Zak and Eunan. Eunan finished in a strong 6th place in last years’ championship and has shown that he has the pace to be on the podium. Zak really caught my eye with his mature approach to racing and his dominating form towards the end of last season in the Junior Superstock 600 Championship.”
