2023 FIM Awards Ceremony head to Liverpool this December
Stars of of two-wheeled motorsport will descend on the city of Liverpool this December as the 2023 FIM Awards Ceremony rolls into town
THE city of Liverpool has been chosen to host the 2023 FIM Awards Ceremony on December 2nd, as the stars of two-wheeled motorsport will congregate at the ACC Liverpool, a stone’s throw from the historic Albert Dock.
The news means the city will play host to the stars of MotoGP, World Superbike, Motocross, Trials and many more, promising to be one of the biggest gatherings of global motorcycle racers the UK has ever seen.
Prior to the glittering black-tie event, the FIM General Assembly will convene, with representatives from many international federations will cast their votes on a host of matters to do with two-wheeled motorsport.
Speaking about the news, FIM President, Jorge Viegas said:
“Liverpool is recognised around the world for its contribution to everything from industry to sport and popular culture, its famous football clubs and music bands are known to people all over the globe. I cannot think of a city in Great Britain that is better suited to hosting an event that will truly celebrate another fantastic season of FIM competition.”
