Suzuki Race Parts Programme is relaunched in the UK
Suzuki has relaunched its Race Parts Programme in the UK, meaning ACU licence holders can find parts for their competition Suzukis at a reduced cost.
Suzuki’s Race Parts Programme has been relaunched in the UK, meaning race licence holders can find parts for competition-run Suzuki motorcycles at a discount.
There has been much speculation since May regarding Suzuki’s commitment to racing, and to motorcycles as a whole.
But, since the confirmation of their withdrawal from MotoGP and the Endurance World Championship as a factory effort, the Japanese brand has made some confirmations of its continued commitment to motorcycles.
For example, it has joined the Swappable Batteries Motorcycle Consortium, and appears to be readying a replacement for the SV650. Even in MotoGP, it is trying to learn new lessons by trying new aerodynamic pieces, the latest of which were tried by Alex Rins in first practice for the Japanese Grand Prix today (Friday 23 September).

Further confirmation comes from Suzuki GB, where the Suzuki Race Parts Programme has been relaunched.
The result of this is that ACU licence holders in the UK can buy parts for Suzuki motorcycles that are used in competition at a discount. This includes the GSX-R1000, 750, 600, and 125; SV650; and Bandit 600.
Additionally, the off-road segment gets equal treatment, with discounts provided on not just the RM-Z four-stroke machines (250 and 450), but also the RM two-strokes (125 and 250).
There is a 15% discount on parts orders over £150, “from wheels, handlebars and other chassis components, to pistons, rings and other engine hardware,” Suzuki GB says.
“To take advantage of the discount,” Suzuki GB continues, “ACU licence holders must present their valid ACU licence at the point of purchase through their nearest authorised Suzuki dealership.”
Jacob Lewis, Suzuki GB’s aftersales customer retention manager, said: “Racing still forms an important part of the Suzuki DNA, and we know there are many competitors that choose to race Suzuki products in a range of series and championships in the UK.
“We want to be able to support those individuals, regardless of whether they’re competing in the British Superbike Championship or British Motocross Championship paddocks, or racing SV650s and Bandits at club level.
“Engines require maintenance, and, unfortunately, crashes happen, and we’re pleased to be able to relaunch the Race Parts Programme to help keep Suzukis on the grid.”
