First 20 starters confirmed for 2023 Isle of Man TT Superbike & Senior races

The top 20 starters list for the 2023 Isle of Man TT Superbike and Senior TT races has been confirmed, with David Johnson setting off at #1.

The Isle of Man TT has confirmed the top 20 starting positions for the Superbike class races at the 2023 TT.



The 2023 Isle of Man TT is by now only two months away from beginning, with qualifying set to begin on Monday 29 May, and the first races scheduled for Saturday 3 June.

For the Superbike class, the first race - the Superbike TT - is set for Sunday 4 June, while the Senior TT is planned for Saturday 10 June. 



The starting order for the Superbike races have now been confirmed, with David Johnson set to open the road on the Jackson Racing Honda.

2019 Senior TT winner Dean Harrison will head off down Bray Hill second on the DAO Racing Kawasaki, before 23-time TT winner John McGuinness sets off as #3 for Honda Racing UK. 



Fourth away will be Jamie Coward on the KTS Racing Honda, before James Hillier’s OMG Racing Yamaha at #5. 



Sixth in will be Michael Dunlop on the Hawk Racing Honda, before Josh Brookes on his return to the Isle of Man with FHO Racing; while Davey Todd will be #8 on the Padgett’s Honda, and Lee Johnston #9 for Ashcourt Racing.

Peter Hickman will assume his usual 10th spot in the starting order on the second FHO Racing BMW.



The second Padgett’s Honda of Conor Cummins will be 11th away, ahead of Michael Rutter for Bathams Racing Honda, Dominic Herbertson on the APERO BMW, Philip Crowe on the Nigel Appleyard Agri Wash BMW, and Nathan Harrison, who will be #15 on the second Honda Racing UK Fireblade.



#16 will be Mike Browne on the RK Racing BMW, then Gary Johnson for JR Performance Honda, Shaun Anderson on Team Classic Suzuki, Sam West on Street Diner Racing’s BMW, and concluding the top 20 starters will be Craig Neve on the second Bathams Honda.
