Ian Hutchinson has strolled to a sweet 16th Isle of Man TT victory in a historic RL360 Quantum Superstock race on Wednesday after the rescheduling.

Hutchinson has added to his Superbike win on Sunday for TAS Racing with a flawless performance after taking the lead from Michael Rutter at the end of lap one before easing away to win by 22 seconds.

It marks the English rider’s third successive win in the class to become the most successful with five in total in Superstock to extend his career win tally to 16.

The only rider who was able to represent any significant challenge to Hutchinson was Peter Hickman who notched up his third consecutive TT podium in second place but ultimately leaked timed to the Tyco BMW rider after every lap.

Hutchinson seriously impressed when he produced a 131.109mph lap from a standing start to gain eight seconds during his stop and take a significant buffer to storm to victory.

Manx rider Dan Kneen claimed his maiden TT podium in third 21 seconds off of Hickman with Rutter eventually finishing fourth for Bathams BMW ahead of Dean Harrison on the Silicone Engineering Kawasaki, just 1.1s off Rutter with Michael Dunlop sixth on the MD Racing Suzuki.
