Wild Harley-Davidson-Style Jet Bike Rips Through Florida
A Supercharged 250bhp Harley-Davidson-style jet bike has been spotted tearing through Florida
Just when you think you’ve seen it all, this supercharged jet bike with a Harley-Davidson-inspired look takes ‘crazy’ to new heights. I think it’s fair to say Florida, and in particular South Beach, has garnered a reputation for flair, chaos and everything in between, and no, I’m not talking about the Bad Boys films.
Known as Watersports Car, the American company is the owner and builder of this totally bonkers machine which has a supercharged engine, makes 250bhp, includes a custom sound system and custom exhaust. But perhaps better than all of that is its appearance, because the look of this thing is quite incredible.
Seemingly a fan of Harley-Davidson bikes, the guys at Watersports Car have taken the design of this jet bike, which will certainly grab the attention among two-wheel fans, and seemingly inspired it around the Harley V-ROD thanks to its chunky rear tyre. It includes both a single headlight on the front and taillight and is classed as a three-seater.
In terms of the engine, it is a 1.8-litre jet bike with a naturally aspirated Yamaha engine, with costs starting at $27,000 (approx. £21,000). The exact name of this machine is ‘Model-Series-HD’.
As you can imagine from a jet bike with a supercharger that creates 250bhp, the sound this machine makes will blow your mind, and when being ridden across the Floridian waters, it's abundantly clear that driving one of these things requires a lot of skill. As someone who is a very basic swimmer, and that’s pushing it, I would probably stay clear of this beast if it was presented in front of me. If you’re wondering what else Watersports Car have to offer, they have a stunning Ferrari-inspired four-wheeler which looks like a Hypercar and Lamborghini-styled cars. Madness, I know!
If you like all things that have a powerful engine, love the water and are planning a trip to Florida with a lot of spare cash in your pocket, then look no further for your holiday thrill!
