2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed dates announced
The dates have been announced for the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, with tickets set to go on sale in the winter of this year.
The dates for the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed have been announced, with the event set to take place once again in the middle of July.
The news of next year’s dates comes just a few days after the conclusion of the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed, which was unfortunately notable for its cancellation of Saturday’s action due to bad weather.
It also, though, saw the largest MotoGP presence in the history of the Festival of Speed, with the likes of Freddie Spencer, Kevin Schwantz and Casey Stoner joining current riders like Enea Bastianini, Pol Espargaro, and reigning World Champion Francesco Bagnaia in attending the event and riding GP bikes up the famous Goodwood hillclimb.
There were also plenty of production bikes on display, and on the hill, including the Triumph 765 Street Triple Moto2 Edition, and even the Yamaha XSR900 DB40 prototype.
There was also the presence of four-time F1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel, who drove an ex-Ayrton Senna McLaren and his own ex-Nigel Mansell Williams, and the 2023 24 Heures du Mans-winning #51 Ferrari 499P with its drivers Antonio Giovinazzi and James Calado, as well as Miguel Molina, who drives the #50 499P in the World Endurance Championship alongside Nicklas Nielsen and Antonio Fuoco.
The dates for the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed have been confirmed as 11-14 July, with tickets to go on sale to the general public on 6 November 2023. Due to a large number of tickets being rolled over from the Saturday of the 2023 event, Saturday in 2024 is already limited.
Of course, with almost one year until next year’s event and only three days removed from this year’s edition, details on who and what will be attending in 2024 are essentially non-existent, but this will of course become more clear as the time to the event reduces.
