GasGas announced 2023 Scottish Six Days Trial support package
GasGas will be returning to the Scottish Six Days Trial in 2023, including its support package for all riders entered on the Spanish brand's machinery.
GasGas has announced a return of its support package for the 2023 Scottish Six Days Trial.
GasGas already has experience at the Scottish Six Days Trial (SSDT) and of working with privateers at the event. It was at the 2022 SSDT supporting privateers running the Spanish brand’s motorcycles.
Additionally, at the 2022 Scottish Six Days Trial, the Spanish brand picked out Tom Minta - the top-placed privateer at the 2022 SSDT - and gave him factory support for the 2022 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo enduro event. Minta was an impressive 23rd in Erzberg before the legendary Carl’s Dinner.
For 2023, GasGas will be back at the SSDT, which is scheduled for 30 April - 6 May, and supporting any rider entered on GasGas machinery.
GasGas says it will “be on-site in Fort William offering technical support and spares,” throughout the event. GasGas-mounted riders will also have access to the GasGas hospitality unit.
“In addition to the technical support and spares, each GASGAS rider will receive a goodie bag packed with essentials to master the SDDT,” GasGas says.
Entries for the 2023 Scottish Six Days Trial will open on 17 October 2022 for four weeks. The successful entrants will then be asked to submit a full application and entry fee in order to be accepted for the 2023 SSDT by early January.
The Scottish Six Days Trial says that entry fees will be increased compared to previous editions of the event to match inflation. “The current financial position is a concern and we hope to keep any increases in entry fees to a minimum but inevitably we will have to increase them in line with inflation,” the SSDT website says.
